Doris M. Druck

Doris M. (Mundis) Druck, 81, of Glen Rock, passed away peacefully on Monday January 9, 2017 at the home of her son in Seven Valleys. She was the wife of the late Palmer E. Druck, Sr. A viewing for friends and family will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock. All other services will be private at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Druck was born in York on December 30, 1935, a daughter of the late Henry L. and Ruth E. (Godfrey) Mundis. She retired from Stewart Connectors in Glen Rock and prior to that was employed at the former Guy Hobbs Furniture Company in the 1960’s. Doris loved bluegrass music and enjoyed going to bluegrass festivals with her husband and friends. She was a member of New Hope “Fissels” UCC Church, Glen Rock. She was a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many. Doris leaves her children, Cindy L. Hess (Dave) of McKenzie, TN, David R. Tubb (Debra) of Glen Rock, Palmer E. Druck Jr. (Barb) of Seven Valleys, Donna M. Snyder (Scott) of Winston Salem, NC, and Dennis A. Druck (fiancé Cynthia Mason) of Glen Rock; ten grandchildren; Jason, Angie, Krista, Chris, Jeremey, Devin, Cory, Ryan, Jacob, Zachary, five great grandchildren, Gavin, Paige, Emily, Connor, Savannah; her sisters, Elsie Heiss, Jeanetta Mundis, Helen Lawyer, Nancy Schuchart; a brother, Ronald Mundis and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Druck; three brothers, Carson, Kenneth, and Daniel Mundis; and four sisters, Dorothy McMurtrie, Joyce, Wolf, Bernice Blymire, and Patty Mundis. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 3001 Gettysburg Road, Camp Hill, PA 17011.
