Donna Sue Alban

On Saturday, August 26, 2023, Donna Sue Alban, 77, of Glen Rock passed away at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the loving wife of the late Samuel W. Alban, Sr. until his passing in 1993. Donna Sue was born on October 4, 1945, in York, to the late Kenneth and Mary (Crouse) Lutz.

She was the devoted mother to Samuel W. Alban, Jr. and wife Amy, and Stephanie J. Shelton and husband Anthony; beloved Mamaw to her grandchildren, Corey A. Shelton and Megan, Jacob S. Shelton, Kendall J. Shelton, Amber Alban, and Amanda Alban; and one great-granddaughter, Mia K. Shelton. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; one daughter, Debra S. Kowalevicz and her husband, Henry; two infant sons; and her Mother and Father-In-Law, Marguerite and Walter Alban.

In her spare time, Donna Sue enjoyed doing word searches, playing cards, watching TV and spending time with her family.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 30 at 10:30am at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York. The family asks that anyone attending please wear casual attire. Online condolences may be made on this page under "Share a Memory".
