On Tuesday, December 10, 2024, Donna Rae (Zepp) Miller, 80, of New Freedom, passed away at WellSpan York Hospital. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard E. Miller for 54 years until his passing in 2017. Donna was born on July 24, 1944, in York, to the late David J. and June R. (Leech) Zepp. She graduated from Dover High School in 1962. After graduation, Donna worked as a Government Inspector for AMP, Inc. in Loganville. For some time she did in-home childcare, and
in the most recent past she was a Personal Care Provider for the mentally and physically handicapped, with Penn-Mar and retiring from Keystone in Lancaster.
In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting, painting, doing word finds, board games, card games, but most of all, spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church-Hametown in Glen Rock; Group 18 Farm Women; York County Corvette Club; Our Gang Horse Riding Club and the New Freedom Senior Center. She also enjoyed volunteering for the Community Closet in Shrewsbury.
Donna is survived by her three daughters, Rev. Sherry A. Miller (Kathy Boyd-Mansfield), Susan B. Holtzinger (John), and Stacy C. Igo (Philip); three grandchildren, Amanda, Zachary (Megan), and Sara; and one great-grandchild, Elliot. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and two siblings, David Zepp and Linda Pressel.
Public visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, from 10:00am until a memorial service begins at 11:00am at St. Paul Lutheran Church-Hametown, 11894 Susquehanna Trail S., Glen Rock, PA 17327. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory are recommended to the church at the address above. Online condolences may be made at www.geiple.com.
