Donald Samuel Mcfatridge

On Tuesday, May 24, 2022, Donald S. McFatridge, 71, of York passed away at WellSpan York Hospital. He was the husband of the late Linda (Serman) McFatridge. Donald was born on October 30, 1950 in Lower Windsor Township to the late Henry C. and Florence M. (Markel) McFatridge. He graduated from Eastern York High School in 1968, then majored in Chemistry at York College of PA. Donald worked for McCrory's Stores in the Distribution Center for many years, then worked for Goodyear before eventually retiring from Winter Engine-Generator Service, Inc. He was a member of the Thirteenth Ward Political Club in York and a private robotics club. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling with his companion of five years, Jane Linn. Donald is survived by two daughters, Stephanie and Lisa; three sisters, Diana B. Runkle, Rebecca Cox, and Arlene Paules; three grandchildren; and his companion, Jane. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and two brothers, George C. and Richard D. McFatridge. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
