Donald L. Winemiller

Donald L. “Dick” Winemiller, 90, of Glen Rock, died Thursday October 24, 2019 at his home. He was the husband of the late Mary M. (Miller) Winemiller. Funeral Services and burial will be private. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock is in charge of the arrangements. Mr. Winemiller was born on August 29, 1929 in Spring Grove and was a son of the late Willard J. and Alberta (Miles) Winemiller. He was employed as a welder at Borg Warner, York for 37 ½ years and had raised appaloosa horses and Texas longhorn cattle for over 50 years. He also had owned and operated the former Glen Rock ATV business in Glen Rock for many years. He was a member of the 25 year club at Borg Warner and was a founding member of the Keystone Appaloosa Horse Club, former member of the Northeast Texas Longhorn Association, International Texas Longhorn Association and was a Charter Member of the “Our Gang” Riding Club, York. Dick leaves a sister Hazel M. Walker of Glen Rock and a brother, Evans M. Winemiller of Shrewsbury and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Charles J. Winemiller. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to 4-H Clubs of York County, Inc. 112 Pleasant Acres Road, York, PA 17402.
