Donald K. Hickman Glen Rock Donald K. Hickman, 77, of Glen Rock, died Thursday March 19, 2015 at York Hospital. He was the Husband of Delores M. (Laughman) Hickman with whom he celebrated 47 years of marriage with on August 6, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday March 25, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church, 49 Hanover Street, Glen Rock, with his pastor the Rev. Ed Robbins, officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Road, York. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Wednesday at the church. Donald was born October 29, 1937 in Knoxville, Tennessee, a son of the late William H. and Ruth (Brogdon) Hickman. He was employed as a drill operator and mill operator for Global Stone PenRoc in York for many years, having retired in 2009. Donald was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Glen Rock where he was a former Sunday School teacher. Besides his wife, he leaves 6 sons; Dennis G. Davis and his wife Ruth, David T. Davis, Edgar C. Davis and his wife Brenda, Mickey A. Davis, all of Glen Rock, Jeffrey L. Davis of Jacobus, and Brian D. Hickman and his wife Dana of Felton; a daughter Teresa A. Hickman of Glen Rock; a sister Ellen Dickerson or York; and two brothers Samuel Hickman of York and Fred Hickman of South Carolina. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church ,49 Hanover Street, Glen Rock, PA 17327.
