Diane L. Schriver

Diane L. Schriver York Diane L. (Knaub) Schriver, 68 of York, entered into God’s eternal care on Friday March 6, 2015 at York Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Kenneth H. Schriver, with whom she celebrated a 40th wedding anniversary this past September 4th. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Emanuel Lutheran Church of Freysville, 2650 Freysville Road, Red Lion with the Rev. Paul Frank officiating. Burial will be in Freysville Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at the church. Diane was born on March 31, 1946 in York, a daughter of the late Chester W. and Louise V. (Mummert) Knaub. She graduated from William Penn High School in 1964 and was employed as a Medical Records Clerk at York Hospital for over 22 years, retiring in 2011. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church and was a thoughtful and loving person, who loved her pets, enjoyed being with her family and friends and she also loved to travel. Her and her husband traveled to all 50 states and several foreign countries. Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Kathy J. Martin and her husband Robert of Duncannon, PA; a grandson Daniel J. Martin and a sister, Barbara A. Hengst of Red Lion.
