Dennis Michael Brady

Dennis M. Brady, 80, of Windsor Township, passed away on January 27th, 2022, in York, PA. He was the loving husband of Joanne K. (Beck) Brady with whom he celebrated 27 years of marriage on September 27, 2021. Dennis was born on March 20, 1941, in Reading, PA, to Willard Raymond and Thelma Arlene (Burkholder) Brady. Mr. Brady proudly served his country in the United States Army. Denny worked as a diesel mechanic for Shipley Oil for 15 years prior to his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed working on his 1952 antique Pontiac, wood working, spending time in the mountains of Perry County, sprint car races, and telling "campfire stories" to anyone who would listen. Most of all he enjoyed time spent with his family, friends and his beloved granddaughter Kennedy. In addition to his wife Joanne, Denny also leaves a son Shawn Brady and his wife Krista of York; a daughter Shannon Brady and her significant other Brad Craig of York; two brothers, Timothy Brady of York, and Steven Brady of Reading; and a granddaughter Kennedy Craig. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday February 2, 2022, at 12:00 PM at Friedensaal Lutheran Church with Rev. Doug DeStefano officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friedensaal Church is located at 9138 White Church Road, Seven Valleys, PA 17360.
