Dean Eugene Kreeger

On Wednesday, March 29, 2023, Dean E. Kreeger, 88, of Seven Valleys passed away at home. He was the devoted husband to JoAnn (Plymire) Kreeger for 58 years. Dean was born on January 12, 1935 in North Codorus Township to the late William and Sadie (Herman) Kreeger. He was a press operator for Cole Steel for many years, then retired from Three Fold Janitorial. Dean was a member of Aldersgate Church in York.

Surviving him are his wife, JoAnn; daughter, Karen Kreeger; one grandson, Andrew; three sisters, Dorothy Lentz, Delores Ness, and Elaine Lefever. He was preceded in death by his parents; and eight siblings, William Kreeger, Louise Thoman, Arlene Strickler, Janet Baker, Leon Kreeger, Claire Kreeger, Florence Darr and Shirley Kinard.

Public viewing will be on Monday, April 3 from 10:00 AM until a funeral service begins at 11:00 AM at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock PA. Interment will follow in Mt. Prospect Cemetery, Seven Valleys. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the York County SPCA, 3159 Susquehanna Trail North, York, PA 17406.
