David Weiss York David Weiss, 67, of South Amboy, NJ, who until recently was of York, died Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the Raritan Bay Hospital, Old Bridge, NJ. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Geiple Funeral Home Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock with Rabbi Peter Kessler, officiating. There will be no viewing. Burial will follow in South Hill Hebrew Cemetery, York. David was born on February 12, 1951 in York and was a son of the late Ernest R. and Lottie A. (Feibel) Weiss and was a step son of Harlene R. (Freedman) Weiss of Sarasota, FL. He was a member of the Shadowfax and the Sheltered Workshop communities in York for many years. He is also survived by a brother, Ronald Weiss and his wife, Lisa of Middletown, NJ; two step brothers, Lawrence Markowitz and Andrew Markowitz; nieces and nephews, Lizbeth Weiss, Ryan Weiss, Sean Cohen and William Cohen.
