David M. Krebs

David Melvin Krebs, 73, formerly of Glenville, PA, passed away at his home in Three Springs, PA. He was the loving husband to Yvonne J. (Smith) Krebs for 55 years. David was born in York, PA to the late Curvin K. and Florence E. (Taylor) Krebs. He was a 1965 graduate of Susquehannock High School. He retired from P.H. Glatfelter Co. in 2005 after 36 years of employment. David was a member of Immanuel Bible Church, Three Springs, PA, the Jefferson Rifle club, and Past Exalted Ruler of Elks, Hanover Lodge #763. He was a Boy Scout Leader, Youth League Baseball Coach, past church council member and received the Amateur Angler's Award from the Ocean City Marlin Club. David was a life-long fan of the Yankees, Steelers, and Pirates, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, Gator-riding, and boating. David is survived by his wife, Yvonne; a son David M. Krebs Jr and his wife Christine of Elizabethtown, PA; daughters, Vonnie Krebs of Jonestown, PA, and Sandra Krebs of Herndon, VA; four grandchildren, Taylor Krebs, Allison Krebs, Michael Krebs, and Natalie Krebs; his brothers James Krebs and his wife Gloria of Spring Grove, and Galen Krebs and his wife Patsy of Gettysburg; and a sister Cindy Ross and her husband Mark of Fairfax, VA. Public Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 1, at 10:00 AM with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. His pastor Rev. Dr. Barry Whitworth will be officiating. Internment will follow at St. Jacob's Stone Church Cemetery, Glenville.
