On Friday, November 10, 2023, Daniel Smucker Esh, 5, of Spring Grove passed away suddenly at home. He was born on June 3, 2018 in York, the son of Stephen King Esh, Jr. and Barbara King Smucker Esh. Along with his parents, Daniel is survived by five brothers and sisters, Emma, Sadie, Johnny, Miriam, and Steven; and grandparents, Stephen King Esh, Sr. and his wife Miriam Esh, and Daniel and Sadie Smucker. He is preceded in death by one grandmother, Lizzie Esh.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, at 11:00am at the family farm. Burial will also take place in the community cemetery located on the farm. Online condolences may be made at www.geiple.com.
