Dale E. McCleary Wrightsville Dale E. McCleary, 60, of Wrightsville, died just before sunset on Tuesday September 15, 2015 after a short but hard-fought battle with cancer. Visitation will be held at 10:00am on Friday, September 25, 2015 with funeral service to follow at 11:00am at St. Paul Lutheran Hametown Church, 11894 Susquehanna Trail, Glen Rock, PA 17327. All who knew Dale are welcome. Devoted son, brother, father, grandfather, friend, teacher, coworker, and servant of God, Dale’s inquisitive mind, patient insight, bright smile, and generous spirit will be forever missed. Dale was born at Hanover Hospital on January 6, 1955 to the late Leona V. (Miller) McCleary and the late Millard A. McCleary. He was active at Susquehannock High School, Class of 1972. He loved working with his hands on the family farm and in home construction while he earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in physics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. He was a technological engineer with the Raytheon Corporation for 33 years. Since 1990, Dale has been a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Wrightsville. He leaves behind three daughters, T. Danielle McCleary, Corynne N. (McCleary) Gerow, and Fairyn P. (McCleary) Enderle; former wife, Lynn W. McCleary; five grandchildren, William, Matthew, Kailyn, Amari, and Maxton; five sisters, Sylvia Marie Erline, Gloria McCleary, Nadine Stevenson, Sharon Phelan, and Lena McCleary; and one brother, Donald McCleary. He will remain in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, and all whose lives he has influenced.
