Clyde D. Rohrbaugh York Clyde D. “Donnie” “Curly” Rohrbaugh, 94, of the Haven at Springwood, formerly of North Codorus Township, died Friday December 14, 2018 at Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mildred A. “Middy” (Auchey) Rohrbaugh. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6 York St., Codorus (Jefferson), with his pastor, the Rev. Sean Titus, officiating. Viewings will be held from 6 to 7 pm Wednesday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock and from 10 to 11 am Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Jefferson Cemetery with military rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. Mr. Rohrbaugh was born June 4, 1924, in Codorus Township, the son of the late A. Paul and Annie K. (Miller) Rohrbaugh. He graduated from Codorus Township High School in 1941 and was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, serving as a Staff Sergeant with the 753rd Field Artillery Battalion. Curly was the Plant Superintendent and Manager of the former AMF Union Machinery Division in Glen Rock for 48 years retiring in 1989. Following his retirement, he was President of RCR Machine Company, Inc., Glen Rock until 1999. Donnie was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Codorus, serving on various committees; member of the Lutheran Men’s Club of York, Life Member of Austin L. Grove American Legion Post #403 Glen Rock, PA. His hobby was to quilt, and he made many hand sewn quilts for churches and other organizations in the local area. He will be sadly missed by two sons, Todd M. Rohrbaugh and his wife, Bonnie of New Freedom, and Rick R. Rohrbaugh and his wife, Kimberly of York; and two grandchildren, Kristen Peregoy and husband Dan and Kelsey Soroko and husband Arren; three great grandchildren, Lyla, Braedyn and Peyton Peregoy. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mary A. Shaffer and Miranda M. Rohrbaugh. Contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Box 218, Codorus, PA 17311.
