Clinton G. Amspacher

Clinton G. Amspacher, 91, of York, formerly of Glen Rock, passed away on December 21, 2023.

Clinton was born to the late Clinton R. Amspacher and Mary C. Sheffer Amspacher. He was married to Sondra M. "Bonnie" (Frey) Amspacher for 63 years prior to her death on November 11th 2016. He was a carpenter by trade, retiring from Imperial Remodeling Co. of York. He served as a military police officer in the Korean War with 70+ years with the American Legion Post 403 of Glen Rock. He was also a member of the Buchannan Gun Club, Victory, and Rooster Clubs VFW, and NRA.

He leaves two sons, C. George Amspacher of Enola and Dennis E. Amspacher (Susan) of York; one grandson, Dana B. Amspacher (Tess); four great granddaughters, Audrey Sullivan (Steven) of Hanover, Allie, Emily, and Linsey Amspacher of York; three step siblings, Faith A. Brown, Wayne R. and Warren D. Amspacher. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Renee C. Amspacher and his step brother Steven H. Amspacher.

At his request, services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made to the SPCA. Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc. will be assisting the family with these arrangements. Burial will be in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery (Chestnut Hill Cemetery) in Glen Rock.
