Clair A. Miller Clair A. Miller, 94, formerly of Jacobus, died Thursday July 14, 2016 at Manor Care, Dallastown. He was the husband of the late Patti V. (Keiser) Miller. Friends and family are invited to a viewing and a time of gathering to celebrate Clair’s life, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, July 18, 2016 at Geiple Funeral Home, Inc, 53 Main street, Glen Rock. Following cremation, there will be a graveside service held at Salem Union Cemetery, Jacobus at 10:00AM, Wednesday July 20, 2016 with Chaplain Wesley Mast from Heartland Hospice officiating. Military honors will be given by the York County Veterans Honor guard. Mr. Miller was born in Springfield Township, on March 25, 1922, the son of the late Charles Miller and Carrie Irene (Krout) Grim Grove. Clair was a United States Army Veteran, having served during WWII. He was employed for over 40 years at Ameristeel, York where he worked in maintenance and as a welder, he retired in 2010. Clair Leaves a son, Kay L. Miller and his wife Connie of Jacobus; two grandsons, Bryan Miller and his wife Denise, and Ben Miller; two great grandsons, Nick and Ethan; and a sister Lucy I. Sheffer of Jacobus. The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff at Manor Care, Dallastown and Heartland Hospice for their compassionate care for Clair.
