Cindy Werner

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, Cindy A. (Goodling) Werner, 73, of Loganville, passed away peacefully at her home. She was the loving wife of Ronald Werner for 53 years. Born on March 2, 1951 in York to the late Robert M. and Flo R. (Krout) Goodling.

Cindy is survived by her husband Ron; two sons, Barrett S. Werner and his sons Tyler and Drew, Bryan R. Werner and wife Shannon and their daughters Erica and Haley; two sisters, Deborah J. Powers and husband Thomas, and Wendy S. Scarborough and husband John; a sister-in-law, Cathy Bell; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also survived by her loving Bassett Hounds, Penelope and Lucinda.

Cindy was a 1969 graduate of Dallastown High School. She then spent over 35 years employed as a Medical Assistant for her dear friends, Drs. Richard and Susan Kurz. She had also worked for Perrydell Farms for several years, where she made cherished friendships with Donna, Wendy, Lauren. Cindy also never missed a hair appointment with her close friends Alicia and Rhonda. She also built a trusting relationship with Dr. Frey and staff, who were amazing in caring for Cindy for many years.

Cindy enjoyed taking care of her yard, her pets, and, most of all, her family. Cindy wanted nothing more than the happiness and wellbeing of her sons and grandchildren.

A public visitation will be held on Thursday, September 19, from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. There will be a private memorial service held at the family's convenience.
