“It was a good life,” said Charles J. Healy shortly before he passed, surrounded by his family, on December 7, 2021 at 83 years old. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Charles O. and Marie Healy. Chuck was the loving husband of Ellen to whom he was married for 60 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his four daughters along with their husbands, June and Rob Tracy, Laurie and Mark Delp, Jen and Kelly Fritz, and Amy and Rick Reinert; all from York County. In addition, 8 grandchildren: Niki, Ryan, Justin, Ashlyn, Nicholas, Dylan, MacKenzie and Emma, as well as 6 great-grandchildren: Sami, Peyton, Russel, Wesley, Haley, and Wyatt. Chuck also leaves Joseph Healy, his older brother. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Cory Delp, whom he is looking forward to seeing once again. Chuck loved to spend time with his family, first and foremost. When he was younger, he loved sports (particularly volleyball), gardening, tinkering with cars (over 100 of them), and fishing. He was an Insurance Agent for 35 years and owner of Cumberland Solar Systems. He also served in the U.S. Coast Guard. A visitation will take place at St. Peter’s Church (1708 Seitzville Rd.
