Chrystal M. Brenneman Shrewsbury Chrystal M. (Keener) Brenneman, 88, formerly of Glen Rock, passed away peacefully in the presence of the Lord Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Barbara J. Egan Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Shrewsbury. She was the beloved wife of the late Ernie M. Brenneman to whom she had been married to 69 years at his death on June 19, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc. 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, with her Pastor Dave MacKenzie officiating. Viewings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, Dallastown. Mrs. Brenneman was born on August 3, 1924 in York County the daughter of the late Wesley J. and Alice M. (Keener) Raver. She was a homemaker and had been employed as a Florist at Lincoln Way Flower Shop, York. She was a member of the Bridgeway Community Church and the Potosi Group Eleven Farm Womens Society. She loved flowers, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her children and grandchildren. She leaves behind a daughter Dawn E. Greenplate of York, two sons David M. Brenneman and his wife Carolyn of Glen Rock and Barry R. Brenneman and his wife Sheri of Seven Valleys; seven grandchildren Brian, Sherri, Tana, Amy, Shawn, Jason and Jennifer and twelve Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Wesley C. E. Raver and sisters Doris Achenbach and Betty Jackson. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Bridgeway Community Church, Mission Fund, 255 Reynolds Mill Road, York, PA 17403.
