Catherine V. Clayton York Catherine V. (Hutchins) Clayton, 91, of SpiriTrust Lutheran, The Village at Sprenkle Drive, who was formerly of Glen Rock, died Sunday April 24, 2106 at the home. She was the wife of the late of the late Robert H. Clayton. A memorial service for family and friends to celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 29, 2016 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock, with Rev. Kevin M. Callahan, officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 Friday at the funeral Home. There will be no viewing and private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Mrs. Clayton was born on June 10, 1924 in Hoffmanville, Baltimore County MD and was a daughter of the late Richard H. and Mary Ellen (Hoover) Hutchins. She was employed on the Cutting Floor at the former Savada Brothers Sewing Company in Glen Rock for many years and was a member of Grace Bible Church, New Freedom. She is survived by two daughters, Rosemary E. Glatfelter of Conway SC. and Karen Crumrine of York and a son, Craig Clayton of Dover; 10 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, a great grandson; and two sisters, Mary Phillips of Jacobus and Ethel Myers of Shrewsbury. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Cassandra L. “Sandy” Thoman and a son Robert Mark Clayton.
