Carrie Marie Roser

Carrie Marie (Lint) Roser, 100, of Spring Grove passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 surrounded by her family in State College. Carrie was the wife of the late Stanley E. Roser, with whom she shared 54 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1996. Carrie was born on February 18, 1922, on the family farm near York New Salem to the late Charles Clayton Lint and Sarah Lotti May (Stough) Lint. She worked for Stern Garment Company in Seven Valleys as a seamstress for many years prior to her retirement. Carrie was very thoughtful, kind, and skillfully-styled. Industrious throughout her life, her grandchildren believe that "neatness followed her." She was an avid animal lover, enjoyed watching birds, and gardening. Her greatest joy was time spent and memories made with her beloved family. She was a faithful and active member of Zion Shaffer's United Lutheran Church for 80 years. Carrie adored her "Church Family" and loved her longtime neighbors and friends, Don and Donna Reever of Spring Grove. Carrie viewed them all as family and appreciated their love and support over the years. Carrie is survived by her daughter, Carla Roser-Jones of State College; five grandchildren, Kelly Sherman (Chris), Jill Roser, Christopher Jones (Abby), Sara Roser-Jones, and Courtlyn Roser-Jones; five great grandchildren, Brandyn Sherman, Haley Sherman, Juliet Jones, Campbell Jones, and Walter Jones. Carrie is preceded in death by her husband; parents; son, Jeffrey L. Roser; brothers, Stanley Eyster, Clayton Lint, Kenneth Lint, and John Lint; and sisters, Mary Kathryn Deihl, and Edna Snyder. A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Zion Shaffer's United Lutheran Church, 4535 Shaffer Road, Seven Valleys, PA. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev.
