Camila M. Messersmith Southport, NC Camila M. (Skelly) Messersmith, 93, of Southport, NC, who was formerly of Glen Rock, died, Sunday April 13, 2014 at Dosher Nursing Center, Southport, NC. She was the wife of the late Maynard T. Messersmith. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Hanover Street, Glen Rock, with the Rev. Ed Robbins, officiating. There will be no viewing. The Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock is in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Messersmith was born June 18, 1920 in Geneseo, NY, a daughter of the late John and Mary (Vangallio) Skelly. She was an inspector for AMP, Inc. for many years. Camila was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Glen Rock and a former member of the Triangle Chapter #403 Order of the Eastern Star, Shrewsbury. She leaves a Daughter, Beverly Ann Fitzgerald of Southport, NC; a son L. Robert Messersmith of Myerstown, PA; five Grandchildren; nine Great Grandchildren; and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
