Blanche M. Lewis Manchester Blanche M. (Miller) Lewis, 81, of Manchester, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at York Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Shrewsbury Dunkard Brethren Church, 216 N. Main Street, Shrewsbury with Elder Marlin Marks and Elder Ray Stuber officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Viewings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday at the church. Mrs. Lewis was born March 13, 1933 in York, a daughter of the late Paul H. and Mary Ellen (Krout) Miller. She was a sales clerk for Kmart, York for over 30 years, having retired in 1999. Blanche was a member of Shrewsbury Dunkard Brethren Church. She was an avid animal lover, and enjoyed flowers and cooking. She especially loved spending time with her family. She leaves two sons, Van J. Lewis and his wife Alita of Manchester, and Edward F. Lewis, II and his wife Diane of Roseburg, OR; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren; and two sisters, Catherine E. Keeny and her husband Lloyd of Fawn Grove, and Martha Kessler and her husband Randy of Glen Rock. She was predeceased by a son Jan H. Lewis, and three brothers, Paul, John, and Melvin Miller.
