Beulah M. “Tootie” Combs York New Salem Beulah M. “Tootie” (Raver) Combs, 90, of York New Salem, died Sunday June 25, 2017 at Spiritrust Lutheran Shrewsbury. She was the wife of the late Carl C. “Ted” Combs Sr. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Friedensaal Lutheran Church 9138 White Church Road, Sevens Valleys, with Rev. Margareta M. Breden officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A viewing will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main street, Glen Rock and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Thursday at the church. Beulah was born on May 3, 1927 in Springfield Township and was a daughter of the late James A. and Catherine (Shenberger) Raver. She was a homemaker and a member of Friedensaal Lutheran Church and Sunday School. She was also a member of Ladies Auxiliary of the York New Salem Fire Company. She leaves a daughter Lois J. Greenly and husband Jeff of Mt. Joy, four sons, Ronald E. Combs Sr. of Manchester, Donald L. Combs and wife Linda of York, Jerry G. Combs Sr. and wife Ann of Dover, Carl C. Combs Jr and wife Vicki of West York; 14 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Patricia Combs; two granddaughters, Lisa Combs and Sandra McCabe; three brothers, James Raver, Clinton Raver, and Norman Raver; and two sisters, Effie Lloyd and Minnie Braun.
