Betty L. Smith

On November 30, 2021, Betty L. (Hockman) Smith, 89, passed away at Kline Hospice House in Mt. Airy, MD. She was the devoted wife of the late Eugene R. "Smitty" Smith, Sr. Betty is survived by two daughters, Melissa J. Keefer, Amy E. Burkholder and her husband, Warren; two sons, Eugene R. Smith, Jr. and his wife, Jane, and Ralph J. Smith and his wife, Mabel; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one son, Dan Smith. Public viewings will be held on Friday, December 3, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 6 pm to 8 pm and again on Saturday, December 4 from 9:30 am until a funeral service begins at 10:30 am. All services will take place at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York.
