Barbara Ann Winemiller

Barbara A. Winemiller Glen Rock Barbara Ann (Slagle) Winemiller, 79, of Seven Valleys, died Thursday July 24, 2014 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home following a brief illness. She was the wife of the Dale E. Winemiller with whom she shared 61 years of marriage. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, July 28, 2014 at the St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church, 3444 Sticks Road (Route 216), Glen Rock, with Rev. Paula Murray, officiating. Burial will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York. A viewing will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Monday at the church. Mrs. Winemiller was born on January 23, 1935 in McSherrystown, a daughter of the late Joseph and Carolyn Slagle. She was a member of the YWCA, Shrewsbury, where she enjoyed swimming. She also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. One of her favorite places to visit was Branson Missouri where they would go to listen to country music. Barbara is survived by a Daughter, Wendy Hemelgarn of Red Lion; a son, Wade Winemiller of Wrightsville, two grandchildren, Brandon and Barrett Hemelgarn; and four great-grandchildren, Barrett, Jr., Kearsten, Aubrey, and Colton Hemelgarn. She is predeceased by an infant daughter Jody Ann; three sisters, Virginia Small, Kristeen Kershner, and Nadine Schurbert; and two brothers, Frank Slagle, and Elwood McKonly.
