Arlene G. Thoman Hanover Arlene G. (Williams) Thoman, 94, of Homewood Home at Plum Creek, who was formerly of Glen Rock, died Monday July 11, 2016 at the home, where she lived since 2009. She was the wife of the late Allen L. Thoman. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday July 15, 2016 at St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church, 3444 Sticks Road, (Route 216), Glen Rock, with her pastor the Rev. Paula L. Murray officiating. Burial will be St. Jacob’s Stone Church Cemetery, Glenville. A viewing will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at the church. Mrs. Thoman was born on November 5, 1921 in North Codorus Township and was a daughter of the late Chester E. and Bessie G. (Shue) Williams. She was a member of St. Jacob’s Lutheran Church, Glen Rock. Arlene is survived by two daughters, Diane S. Smith and her husband Keith of Seven Valleys and Karen K. Reever and her husband Dave of Spring Grove, by a son Gary A. Thoman of Windsor; five grandchildren, Scott Thoman, Jamie Bell, Jennifer Fiallos, Beth-Ann Reever and David Reever, Jr.; eight great grandchildren and a sister, June Kress of Hanover. She was predeceased by a grandson, David Tome and four brothers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Homewood Home at Plum Creek, 425 Westminster Ave., Hanover, PA 17331 or to the VNA of Hanover and Spring Grove Hospice, 440 N.
