Anna M. Landis Seven Valleys Anna M. (Nickle) Landis, 86, of Seven Valleys, died Friday March 6, 2015 at Manor Care Kingston Court, York following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Cornelius E. Landis, with whom she observed a 69th wedding anniversary this past February 9th. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 13, 2015 at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main Street, Glen Rock with Rev. Dr. Matthew Stillman. Burial will be in Zion Shaffers Church Cemetery, Seven Valleys. Viewings will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday and from 10:00 to 11:00 AM Friday at the funeral home. Mrs. Landis was born on April 22, 1928 in York County, a daughter of the late William J. Nickel and Leah (Gruver) Heindel and step daughter of the late Kenneth Heindel. Anna retired in 1988 from AMP, Inc. where she was employed as an Inspector for over 27 years. She was a member of Zion Shaffers Lutheran Church and of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Seven Valleys Community Fire Company. Besides her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Bettylou M. Smith and her husband Ronald, Vicki E. Friedland and her husband Saul all of Seven Valleys; three grandchildren, Wade Smith, Michelle Hare and Tracey Smith; three great grandchildren, Matthew, Tiffany and Kristy Smith.
