Anna E. Humphrey

On Thursday, January 5, 2023, Anna E. (Lau) Humphrey, 83, passed away at ProMedica North in York. She was the loving wife of Wilbur H. Humphrey. Anna was born on August 31, 1939 in Glen Rock to the late Laurence A. and Myrtle J. (Nace) Lau. She graduated from Susquehannock High School and was a faithful member of the Glen Rock Church of Christ. Anna enjoyed crocheting, making afghans, camping, gardening, and bird watching. She is survived by her husband; one daughter, Lena K. Mason and husband Richard; and one sister, Mary J. Pittman and husband Jim. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, J. Irvin Lau; and one grandson, Christopher Mason.

Public viewing will be held on Monday, January 9 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Geiple-Predicce Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock. Closed casket visitation will then take place on Tuesday, January 10 from 10:00am until a funeral service begins at 11:00am at Glen Rock Church of Christ, 3899 Sticks Road, Glen Rock, PA 17327. Interment will follow in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York. Pastor Jeffrey Dillinger will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Glen Rock Church of Christ at the address above.
