Otto F. Lehman, 88, of the Haven at Springwood, who was formerly of Glen Rock, died Monday, January 1, 2018 at the home. He was the husband of the late Jean E. (Boyd) Lehman.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 6. 2018, at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock with Military Rites by the York County Veterans Honor Guard. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Trinity U.C.C. Cemetery, Glen Rock.
Mr. Lehman was born on July 19, 1929 in Loganville, a son of the late Paul H. and Esther E. (Ferree) Lehman.
Otto was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict and retired in 1991 as a Chief Lineman with Met Ed following 38 years of employment.
He was a member of the Austin L. Grove American Legion Post #403 where he was a Past Commander of the Post and the Met Ed Retirement Association.
Otto is survived by two daughters, Christine M. Rial of Windsor and Stephanie J. Erdman of York; two sons, James M. Immel and his wife Jennifer of Glen Rock and Ted S. Lehman of Dallastown; 10 grandchildren, Michael, Kelly, Zachary, Courtney, Grady, Benjamin, Seth, Sam, Nettie, Brandon; 4 great grandchildren, Luke, Olivia and Tanner; and a brother, Barto L. Lehman of Columbia SC. He was predeceased by a son, Mike O. Lehman and a brother, Atlee A. Lehman.
